31-Jan - Transgressive News - Transgressive at HMV's Next Big Thing Festival - February 2010 - Win Tickets!

The kind folk at HMV have granted Transgressive two nights at their inaugural 'Next Big Thing' event, which takes place at HMV-affiliated venues all across London in the early weeks of February 2010. Both nights sold out upon announcement (thank you, if you managed to get a ticket! Sorry if you didn't! But read on...).

- Transgressive Night 1 features Johnny Flynn (solo), with support from Mechanical Bride, occurring at Barfly on February 10th.

- Transgressive Night 2 features Mystery Jets, Two Door Cinema Club + one other act TBA, also occurring at Barfly, on February 14th (a quality way to spend your Valentine's Day, we feel...).

We're thrilled to announce that Transgressive Publishing's latest signing "Two Door Cinema Club" have signed to the highly esteemed Glassnote Records in America....

07-Jan - Johnny Flynn - UK full band tour announced

Johnny Flynn will tour the UK in February, debuting new material from his as-yet-untitled second album scheduled for release May 2010.

Playing a selection of intimate UK venues with his band The Sussex Wit, plus a solo London performance as part of the inaugural HMV Next Big Thing Festival, Flynn and the band will also travel to Austin, Texas in March for the South X South West Music Conference.

Further dates to coincide with the album's release will be announced shortly.

Two Door Cinema Club release their fantastic debut album, "Tourist History" on March 1st 2010 on French label Kitsune (The band are published by Transgressive). It will be preceded by the single "Undercover Martyn" on 22nd February 2010. Read on for more info, full tracklisting and tour dates!!!
